Welcome to Serano

Hello, and welcome to my writing blog.  This is meant to be sort of a preview of a book I've been working on for the better part of three years now.  I'd like, if possible, for people to leave comments on what they like in the story and any suggestions for how to improve it, because I'm revising the book even as I post new stuff for it.

The book is part of a proposed series called "Chronicles of the Frozen Shade."  However, still trying to figure out a decent title for each of these books.  So, anyone with a suggestion is more than welcome to speak up.

I would really like to have dialogues with readers and if people are interested I can even include maps, art pieces, and creator commentaries on chapters or characters I've written.  It all depends on the interest level.  I hope to be able to update weekly as a bare minimum, but I do have a job and that has to come first.  So, we'll see.

Before we get started, though, I want to set some ground rules for this blog.

1.  Constructive criticism only, please.  It's fine to tell me my writing sucks hard, but at least let me know why it does, so I can improve myself.  Don't dump hate on my work without justifying it.  If you do, expect to be blocked.

2.  Please don't take my work without permission.  Nine times out of ten, if you just ask me I'll happily let you reproduce it elsewhere with proper citation.  But please don't try and steal from me.  This work is copyrighted, so just don't.

3.  I don't mind people linking to me or reblogging my work.  By all means, share with others.

4.  Above all else, try and have fun while reading.  I know I'm not Stephen King...yet...but this should at least be interesting, if nothing else.

And, with that said, let me welcome you to the continent of Serano, where the nations of Telnumbra and Lucaria are at relative peace, held in place by a centuries old armistice.  Not everyone is happy with peace, however, as you will soon find out.

Enjoy!

Stephen
