State of Serano: 10-22-2014

Okay, so, I know I've been gone a while, but I'm not dead.  I want to speak honestly with people first about what I'm going through, then we can get to the book.  Right now, I am abroad.  Working abroad, to be precise.  I get Tuesdays and Wednesdays off and the rest of the week I have 10-11 hour days depending on how bad traffic is and how late I have to work.  So, writing is going to be slower.  I usually spend my weekend working on it, but I also have sights I want to see, so it gets done when I have time.

I will get this book done and I am already more than halfway through the next chapter.  No word on when it might be released, but it will be released.  Anyway, I want people to understand that I have a lot of balls in the air, so to speak.  I am juggling paperwork so I can live here, finances, work, and trying not to go crazy along with my video game blog and my book.  I'm going to do the best I can, but I will have to work to my availability rather than a schedule.  For those who've stuck with me, I hope you understand.

Anyway, wordpress is not really an option where I am right now.  Posting this with help from a friend and wordpress is just as blocked for me as blogger, so I have to make do with my workarounds.  So, we're not moving.  We'll stay here for now.  I will try and update at least once a month if I have nothing new to show, since I want people to remember that I am alive, however I will not be able to do any more character profiles, sadly.  That was my way of coping with writers block.  I would get one banged out and it would stimulate my writing juices.  Writer's block is not the problem now.  The problem now is having enough time TO write.  So, to have time to write I can't really write any more supplementary material, though I would dearly love to.  I do plan on having the new chapter done, at the latest, by the end of November, but life has a way of screwing with plans.

I just wanted everyone to know the situation.  I don't have many fans, but the few I do, I want you to know where things stand.  Stick with me and this will get done.  I promise that.  And I always keep my word.

Working as hard as I can. Thanks for the patience, guys.
